So any feed back from the Macroom show?

I thought it went pretty well, Richie and Hugh put in a big effort for this.

I think that this SPL Format makes for good viewing and keeps people interested

Although the SQ section was pretty infomal I thought that the cars overall were pretty good
Will SQ make a return???

nice result from Polo but still not 155db :)
all the records will be proven in official events, so i think official Irish record is smtg 151 now ?
nice result anyway
and it seems Eugen removed the back seat, well done, otherwise you will stay below the 145 db, so to get closer to 150, get twice more power :P
was good day and some nice systems there
1 thing i dont understand, how polo can win a SQ event ... or other cars were really so bad or what ...
hatchback vs saloon, there should be no doubt that propably installed SQ system in to saloon will beat the hatcback ... but what i know about the stuff, just reading experienced SQ men opinions SPL car cant be same good in SQ, but as i said, if the other cars were worse, i understand that

few pics as well :)

few pics as well :)Two sperate systems in the polo doh.Like use the head.
And me getting twice more power isn't the answer the subs won't take it.(Well they will but won't work the next day)
For example what you no the way you blow the two sony xplods ya had thats what would happen.

lol
how can u make a concert hall effect in that polo ?
2 massive subs behind ...

no no, thats not SQ what we talking here about ... sry but i have a different view of that, very far from that ...
its nice to find out how many points he got and for what :)

heres a thread with pics about Audi 100, owner is estonian and became first in the world in 2004/2005 i think, he was in that business already 10 years
and i get my information from him ...
http://www.streetrace.org/foorum/viewtopic.php?t=5822

he has a presentation book for hes car, what is highly recommended in SQ, ill ask hem he has it on web somewhere or not ...

SQ is not just u see the nicest car and we vote for that, but step by step it will evolve in IRL :)

The competition in Macroom was primarily SPL

As I said in my first post the SQ was simple and informal and was intended to get people interested and show them what it was all about

So in the first instance comparisons with a high end competion car are not relevant

Secondly you can't guess how a car will sound just by looking at it so the two subs in the back comment is also irrelevent

Third. The polo and for that matter the A6 that was second were pretty good in comparison with the other cars there, and as has been said before there is a seperate SQ system in the polo, how they would do against stiffer opposition remains to be seen, thats what SQ is all about

and Lastly both of us who judged the cars on Sunday are well aware of what is required both from a sound and presentation point of view as we have judged a few cars in our time:D

At the level we were at on Sunday which was basically entry level EMMA Ireland would not be in the position of tearing peoples cars apart, we are trying to get the guys back into it with some competitive cars.........then we'll do it:o :o

The loudest every hit by a car in Ireland was 165.8dB back is 2003 at 4Play Show in Belfast this was a ISACA event and was on the old 180 mic.

Yes 2 15" W3's and 4 JL 1000.1's and lots of Concrete.

It's very dead long time ago. But don't think it will be to long till the man that made it happen will try again ;)
