EMMA Ireland are hosting a soundoff alongside the Modified Motors LIVE show in Millstreet, Cork on Sunday 13th April.

We plan to hold both Sound Quality & SPL at the event. Classes are as follows:

Sound Quality

Entry Level (First time entrants)
Experienced (Previous/Regular competitors)
Advanced (Professional/Experienced competitors)SPL (Sound Pressure Level)

Stock 1-260 (no wall)
Stock 261+ (no wall)

Bit unfair then like if your car is built to extreme rules and we are built to advanced rules.
Kinda thaught thats why there was the different class's so people have a competive chance.

Yeah i know, sorry was only teasin you. I have no idea how they will work it, last time something like this happened they joined all the classes together. Thought i was wasting my time entering event, but still walked away with 3rd what a shock it was.

Sorry lad not saying anything about your car its built to a every high standard.Just a few lads down here have spent a good few pound on there system to try and complete with the polo.Me included.Would really be a kick in the **** if we have to complete against a car in the upper class that we haven't a hope against.I'd see a lot of people retiring after a round or two when they no they just don't have any chance.Like myself.

Well lad i'm in the same boat as you i'd say he should demo the car and why not connect the solo x to 220volt power might hit 160db then haha no but seriously put a good few pound on the system to be 1st 0r 2nd loudest in advance

A no i not saying he should demo his car either he built it to compete and he should be aloud compete.Just every one there in own class.Or people will lose interest.

5m 0 gauge wire
1x PC 1700 battery
1x custom box

Result 150.7 on termlab.

Corsa C can compete in street b (dB drag)
You dont need to spend fortunes to do big figures.

What class do you think your car would be in? Judging by the wall and the combined size of your batteries you would quailfy for extreme as well???

I no lad but it becomes this hearting when we are built for advanced class and have to compete agsaint etreme class.

Like put me in the stock class with a wall n my car you would get dishearted to like

Then get your entry forms filled out & posted back to us ASAP.

went today to change the timing belt, shit happens, they couldnt find the crankshaft oil seal what they broke and car stayed in the garage till monday ...

not trying to find any excuses, im really pissed off
maybe will be there as a visitor ...

but box is ready and IN the car already with everything connected ...
took me around 4 hours, coz i was lazy and had few beers as well at the same time :D
